The YWCA Union County 40-Hour Domestic Violence Training Program is designed for those wishing to become volunteers with the YWCA to help support victims of domestic violence, as well as community members and those working in fields which directly impact survivors. Topics include the History of the YWCA and its services, Substance Abuse and Domestic Violence, Impact on Children, Financial and Cyber Abuse, Domestic Violence and the Law, Intervention Techniques and more. Training is free for prospective volunteers.
