Our 40-Hour Training certificate program is offered four times per year and is designed for volunteers and professionals in the community that work or will work directly with victims of domestic violence. The next training will be held virtually via Zoom on weekday evenings and will begin January 6, 2026. Click HERE for the full schedule.
YWCA Union County staff will visit your community group, organization, or house of workshop to discuss domestic violence and our services. Presentations are generally one hour in length and can be geared toward the needs of your specific audience. One example is our Healthy Relationships presentation which is curated for tweens and teens and includes discourse on healthy friendships and dating relationships and how to get help for a friend who might be in trouble.
Domestic Violence 101 is a day-long training course created to provide a more in-depth overview of domestic violence. This training is designed for community workers who may encounter victims of domestic violence in order to be better prepared to respond.
